Why we picked TanStack Start
We evaluated Next.js, Remix, and SvelteKit before landing on TanStack Start. Here's the tradeoff we made.

Picking a framework in 2026 means picking a set of tradeoffs. There's no wrong answer — only which constraints you'd rather live with.
What we needed
- First-class TypeScript inference across routing and data.
- Server functions that felt like typed RPC.
- A story for SSR that didn't fight us.
TanStack Start gave us all three, with a router we already loved. Worth the bet.
